The town of Sogndal

Sogndal is located at the shores of the Sognefjord, the second largest fjord in the world. Sogndal municipality has 7 000 inhabitants and about 2 000 students during term.

Mountains, fjords and glaciers

Sogndal is conveniently located as a starting point for trips to mountains, fjords and glaciers. During the summer, tourists arrive in great numbers to experience the Sogn region.

Campus location and facilities

Four of our faculties are located in Sogndal. The faculties are integrated into the downtown area so that all is within walking distance.
